Med Mal Litigation Associate – Medical Malpractice/Healthcare – Various Locations

Represent healthcare professionals and facilities in malpractice litigation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior litigators on strategy for medical malpractice defense.
• Draft and review pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs and other litigation documents.
• Analyze medical records and conduct legal and medical research.
• Represent clients in court, depositions, hearings and conferences.
• Interact with medical experts and clients.
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.

Education and Experience

• New York admission to practice.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong legal research, writing and verbal communication.
• Client confidence and interaction.
• Managing and prioritizing multiple projects.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Problem identification and quick resolution.

Salary range $100,000 – $175,000 with discretionary bonus. Remote/hybrid options available at Garden City, NY, Valhalla, NY, Parsippany, NJ or remote.
